The Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development (ADDED) has called on private sector companies and institutions operating in the emirate to take advantage of the "Sharakah" platform, which aims to support private sector growth and facilitate business operations. Since its inception until the end of April this year, the "Sharakah" platform has registered and approved 192 claims from private sector companies. Of these, 191 claims have been settled, representing 99.5% of the total approved claims, with a value exceeding AED 1.07 billion. The value of claims currently under settlement is AED 59.9 million.

Hamad Sayah Al Mazrouei, Undersecretary of ADDED, said: "The private sector continues to play a fundamental role in Abu Dhabi's economic growth and diversification, as evidenced by the strong growth rates of non-oil sectors, which constitute more than 54% of the emirate's GDP."

Advanced initiatives and policies, a supportive business environment, and the adoption of the highest standards of governance and transparency have contributed to increasing the attractiveness and competitiveness of Abu Dhabi's economy. This is confirmed by the new economic licenses, which saw growth of 29% during 2025 and 21% in the first quarter of 2026.

Al Mazrouei added, "We focus on continuous communication with the private sector, exchanging visions, and leading constructive dialogues on developments and changes in local and global markets. This contributes to developing policies and supporting the business sector in addressing challenges, capitalizing on opportunities in Abu Dhabi's dynamic economy, and enhancing its competitiveness.

We encourage private sector companies and institutions to take advantage of the 'Sharakah' platform to expedite the settlement and payment of their financial claims with government entities and institutions. This supports their cash flow and enables them to continue their operations, growth, and contribution to the economic and social development of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE." The Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi launched the “Partnership” platform in 2018 to develop communication mechanisms to promote constructive dialogue and transparency, and to accelerate the process of settling claims and financial dues of private sector companies with government agencies and institutions.
