Under the patronage of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), and coinciding with the announcement of its tenth edition on January 30 and 31, 2027, at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival is preparing to embark on a new decade of its journey, having established itself as a platform that brings together entrepreneurs, investors, and decision-makers within one of the most dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems.
The figures achieved by the festival over its nine editions reflect its significant growth and its central role in the regional entrepreneurship ecosystem. It has showcased the work of more than 500 startups, in addition to its partnerships with over 100 strategic institutions. The festival has also organized more than 450 events and sessions, and collaborated with over 195 partners in the retail and food and beverage sectors, making it a vibrant environment for networking, exchanging experiences, and expanding businesses.
The festival will continue to thrive in this vibrant environment. Najla Al Midfa, Vice Chairperson of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa), said: “Celebrating the 10th edition of the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival is an occasion to celebrate a decade of hard work and development. It also reflects Sharjah’s belief in the role entrepreneurship can play in developing cities and empowering individuals who choose to launch their businesses from Sharjah to broader horizons.”
When the festival launched its first edition, our vision was to create a space that brings together entrepreneurs and provides them with inspiration, networking opportunities, and support to help them take their next steps. Nine years later, the festival has become one of the region’s leading entrepreneurial platforms, welcoming over 60,000 changemakers and hosting more than 1,400 speakers from around the world. However, the numbers only tell part of the story.
